Where to find rares in pandaria
Focus on doing damage the entire time except when Devastating Arc is being cast. Once that attack is complete, heal up if necessary and focus on doing damage again. The mob shouldn't need to be moved much if the player goes behind the Mogu each time Devastating Arc is being cast.
The Pandaren are usually meditating before attacked. The Pandaren are one of the few fights that can require a lot of movement by the player. They can be easy if done correctly. One of their strongest attacks can be avoided almost entirely. Don't blow cooldowns until after the first Spinning Crane Kick. Run away, just out of range of the kick, then move back in and blow cooldowns to do massive damage. Interrupt Healing Mists as necessary. Having a metagem or enchant that increases run speed will help on this fight.
The Saurok are known to have their brood around them for protection. One of the more dangerous creatures are the Saurok, and is the only rare to ever one-shot my character. They only have one attack that can cause a player to lose a lot of health, and the rest of the abilities resemble a rogue.
Those at ranged might as well get close, unless a pet can hold aggro. Unload on the Saurok after the first vanish. If the Saurok is hit before Vanish, then Smoked Blade won't hit. However, if the Saurok isn't hit, heal up and use a damage reduction cooldown to take the hit that is about to come, then heal afterwards. The lumbering Yaungol is one of the slowest rares to fight, but does have a speed boost. Coupled with one of its other abilities, it can be deadly for a player not prepared for its hard hitting blows.
For the most part there won't be much movement involved. The player will want to move away when Yaungol Stomp is coming. Otherwise, stay in its face and either heal through or use damage reduction cooldowns while Bellowing Rage is active.
It's usually not too much of a threat. Of course, except for cosmetic items, the rares aren't hunted as much due to the release of other expansions. It just means more is available for those wanting to go out rare hunting in Pandaria! It looks like there are a lot of mobs in that area from current content and regardless if I use the Vale NPC to "go back in time" I can't seem to have either of these rares to spawn. At one point I saw Korda Torros and as I flew near him, he disappeared.
Any tips or suggestions would be great! Answer: All rares should still be around, as WoW rarely takes out rares like that. Granted, I haven't checked in awhile. I also know Pandaria has phasing issues sometimes, which I experienced before. Keep in mind those rares may be camped, as some items are considered to still be valuable despite it being multiple expansions ago.
Map is fairly detailed - Please Click to Enlarge. Here is the entire list of items listed below. I have grouped them by zone, and the letters on the left correspond to the map above.
The links on the left are of the container to be found, and the right links are what you will get from each.
The on the far right of each item is the Flag quest that can be used in the macro shown above. Thankfully these items aren't "rare," so should you decide to knock this achievement out on a toon that has flight you can finish it very quickly. Labels: Pandaria , Riches of Pandaria.
Matty January 13, at PM. Comment by Ferari Good day. The "Ships Locker" you mentioned is not there where your map pins is written. The coordinates are correct, but not for "Jade Forest", instead they should be on pandaria continent coordinates Edit: "Mo-Mo's Teasure Chest" is at incorrect location also. Comment by Kitoshi Not all of the locations are correct, here are the actual cords for ALL treasures, also there's some great youtube videos that show everything. Comment by Unformedbobbie just so everyone is aware these cannot be looted by low lvls.
Comment by thegalaxygoddess There is a macro you can paste in for each item in order to find out if you have done it. I hope it saves you a bit of time. Comment by KeigaElspeth Stash of Gems is at 62, Comment by lessthan Just to clarify: all items ones that count for the achievement and ones that don't give you xp. Comment by Gatekus Just out of curiousity, as I am leveling several alts, do the treasures all need to be found on the same toon, or is this a meta achievement where the treasures can be looted across multiple toons?
Also, for Unformedbobbie, what specific level was "too low" to loot the treasures? Comment by butterflygirl25 There is one not listed here. It is a grey item hammer. It is located on one of the mountains in the in jade forest.
It gives around g i believe. It was a long time ago, so i don't remember its location. Comment by kelthozad i have currently experienced that if your bags are full and you try to loot an item, you need to destroy an item in your bags to loot it, otherwise, if you mount or get out of the loot window, the item will disappear but will still count towards the achievements. Keep your bags empty if you are wanting the gold!
Comment by Dragonmaw55 A fun, relaxing way to earn some extra gold on your travels. Comment by phoenix Fantastic guide thank you!
